1. Eligibility of Service
Access to our free service is open to everyone initially. If it is determined that you are abusing the system you will be banned permanently.
The right to communicate with you is our only requirement for using our free service. Therefore, if your email does not work or if you UNSUBSCRIBE from our announcements or notifications, then your account will be subject to deactivation when we clean out accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your email address so that you can receive our notifications and announcements. We will email you with notifications regarding the service and occasional notices of feature enhancements and new offerings (i.e. NO SPAM!).
The reason this rule is in effect is because it is extremely difficult to provide support to users who do not receive our communications.
You may not use role-based emails, and we ask that you not use any email that has an autoresponder attached. If we receive an autoresponse every time that we email you, then we reserve the right to cancel your account. To avoid this, simply use an email that forwards to your primary email but does not get the autoresponder replies.
Your contact information will not be leased, sold, nor shared with anyone, at any time, ever. We will not (and will not allow any third party to) use the Service to record, track or collect personally identifiable information (PII) including without limitations, any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains including, without limitation, full name, physical address, telephone number, fax number, email address, password, personal profile information, biometric information, information regarding a visitor's state of health, economic condition, financial information such as credit card details, checking, social security number or other government-issued identifier, banking, or any other payment information (“PII”) of visitors, nor will we (or will we allow any third party to) associate any data gathered from our website(s) (or such third parties' website(s)) with any PII from any source as part of our use (or such third parties' use) of the Service unless we receive such visitors explicit consent.
However, we do utilize Google Analytics, with Analytics Remarketing enabled, and Alexa's Certify script. So there are anonymous tracking cookies used throughout our site, but they do NOT transfer or access any sensitive or identifying information. All information sent is anonymous and can only be targeted with data the collecting authority already has access to by other means (i.e. for targeted advertising purposes, etc). We do NOT provide any of that identifiable information in any cases. Website visitors have the ability to opt-out of these cookies and tracking, either through visiting the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) page <a href="http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here</a> OR by opting out of just Google's cookies and tracking by visiting their opt-out page <a href="https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here</a>.
4. Multiple Accounts - VIOLATION
There is a limit of ONE(1) account per user across ALL of your domains. This rule is in effect because it is extremely difficult to support users with multiple accounts.
5. Promoting Shrink The Web
We ask that you help to promote our service by placing a link or banner on your site, but this is not mandatory.
You agree to use Shrink The Web's services at your own risk and to not hold Shrink The Web liable for any damages for any reason.
7. System Maintenance
All efforts are made to keep Shrink The Web's dedicated servers available and responsive at all times. Scheduled downtime will be notified via email in advance to all users that opt-in to the Maintenance Notifications email list found on the Profile page.
You may cancel your paid services at any time. Your account will be downgraded immediately and issued a prorated refund. The refund will be used toward future billing. If you will not be using our services again in the future, you may request a manual refund to your payment method of preference.
9. Adult Material
We will honor requests for adult-related thumbnails, but we do so at our discretion. Each account will be reviewed and accounts that are primarily adult in nature will be required to upgrade for continued adult access.
